1. Information We Process

• Account and profile data: phone number or third-party sign-in identifier, display name, avatar, and preferences you choose to provide.
• Family and learning data: child nickname, grade level, optional gender for avatar display, homework records, completion status, progress, points, and rewards.
• Content you submit: homework text, photos, videos, audio recordings, or files that you actively create, select, or upload.
• Technical data: device model, operating system and app version, network status, push token, and diagnostic or feature-interaction logs needed for compatibility, security, notifications, and troubleshooting.
• Purchase data: product and transaction identifiers received from Apple or Google for purchase verification. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

PlanVela does not request precise geolocation, contacts, browsing history outside PlanVela, or biometric information.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts, synchronize homework and family data, provide reminders and progress features, verify purchases, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical problems.

Camera, photo library, microphone, and file access are used only when you actively use the related feature. You can manage optional permissions in device settings.

We do not sell personal data or use children's data for targeted advertising.

3. Service Providers and Disclosure

We share only the information necessary for providers that support cloud hosting, account sign-in, push notifications, diagnostics, and App Store or Google Play billing. Apple, Google, and other providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect users, our rights, and the security of the service. If ownership of PlanVela changes, information may be transferred subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.

4. Children's Privacy

PlanVela is intended to be managed by a parent or guardian. Children should not create accounts independently. A parent or guardian controls child profiles and may view, correct, or delete a child profile and its associated learning data.

If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate parental or guardian involvement, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

5. Retention, Security, and International Processing

We retain account, submitted content, and learning data while the account is active or as needed to provide the service. We may retain limited records longer where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or transaction purposes. After a verified deletion request, personal data is deleted or anonymized unless retention is required by law.

We use access controls, encrypted network transmission where supported, and other reasonable safeguards. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Information may be processed in countries or regions where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal data, and may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You can delete your account in PlanVela under My → Settings → Delete. You can also use our account deletion request page or contact us. Permissions and notifications can be managed in system settings.

7. Changes and Contact

We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. For material changes, we will provide an appropriate notice and update the date above.
